Overall length: 42 1/2". Blade length: 35". Plain blade with a single wide fuller and a secondary fuller near the spine. The ricasso is stamped "U.S D.R 1863." Brass hilt with a 2-branch, semi-basket guard. Standard pommel with wire-wrapped leather grip and iron scabbard. CONDITION: blade has a pleasing light gray patina. Hilt has a mellow, mustard patina. Leather shows wear but is complete, and wire is 100%. Scabbard shows just a few shallow dents and a dark overall patina. (02-23277/BF). $400-600.
